Hai Guys! Eva is back again. And, today I am really excited to talk about the five renowned celebrations of Goa which we all should be part of in future. Irony is that we are still stuck with Coronavirus all around, but it doesn't stop our future and hope for a better days. So let's dive in.


Celebrations respective to their tradition are a common sight in India. They take place with their own features in the diverse states across the country. Onam, integrated with culture, is prevalent in Kerala, and so is the status of Pongal in Tamil Nadu. But, the state of Goa outmatches most of the other states when it comes to raving over their tradition. Here

As the title suggests, both cashew and coconut play a significant role in this event. Cashew is a vital cog in the state economy, and since it is a coastal region, coconut too cannot be left

out. Hosted in the month of May, its key events are cashew stomping, coconut breaking, and unique cocktails are available for people to savour.


  • Goa Mango Festival

Mango fruits in the ripened and juicy form are always a treat for our taste buds. This festival brings in that once-in-a-lifetime experience with copious varieties of mangoes. It also has an intention of increasing the production of mangoes. The festival takes place in May.


  • Goa Sunburn Festival

This is the largest electronic dance music festival in India. The celebrations are melded with music, entertainment, food, and shopping. It happens in the month of September that lasts for more than three days with skilled artists.
