Top 4 Islands for Honeymoon | Eva's Choices

Writer's picture: BE TALESBE TALES

Travelogue from BeTales Magazine

Hi! Am I being too direct and loud in declaring myself on the title? But, there isn’t anything to hide, my dear friends, because your Eva has found and added these 4 islands to her bucket list for her future honeymoon destination.

Amalfi Coast

Imagine opening your eyes inside a beautiful building beneath the shadows of Monti Lattari to the wide-open satin bed of the blue sea of Amalfi. Bougainvillea colors your palette, while the scent of lime fills your system with a new endearing freshness every time you take a breath and this is Amalfi Coast in Italy for you people.

The coastline of Amalfi stretches from Positano to Vietri sul Mare along the Tyrrhenian coast of southern Italy. In front is the Gulf of Salerno, behind it the Monti Lattari, and tourists beehive this place for its high cliffs, enchanting coves, and small bays, terraces dotted with citrus fruits, vines, and olive trees, and of course for its high-fashion shops and artisan workshops.

Other than this, enjoying delicious pasta, sunbathing on the shore of Positano, exploring the colorful houses and hotels in their bright colors engineered in terrace patterns, and taking tons of photos can promise a happy honeymoon for me.

Mauritius

Mauritius is an island paradise in the Indian Ocean and located off the east coast of Africa, with stunning soft sand beaches, mountains, tea plantations, waterfalls, forests, and sparkling clear lagoons encircled by coral reefs. My feet itch to visit this place, Mauritius. How can I not wish to visit this place?

Mauritius is a year-round destination for both couples and families. It is as diverse as India with evident cultural assimilations of India, China, Africa, and Europe; and they speak English, French, and Creole.

Of course, as expected many of the activities involve water, snorkeling, and paragliding, and they provide you with the best possible scenery for you to take tons of aesthetic vacation pictures in the water, however, there are a few things you should not skip like visiting pods of dolphins in the west coast where you can see bottlenose and spinner dolphins. Usually, you can see 20 of them, but if you are lucky you can even see hundreds of them. WOAH!

Bali

It has always been famous, but it has grown more popular amongst Indians because of the lack of visas, and the very reason is that it is cheaper in comparison to the above two places. Yes, a place that is cheap in money but elite in vision, Eva will choose that place. DEFINITELY.

I came across this place due to a Tamil song featuring Nayantara and Udayanithi Stalin. Though I watched it for her dress, I ultimately enjoyed the setting, and they were Lempuyang Water Temple and Tirta Gangga Water Palace. Lempuyang Water Temple is one of the six main temples in Bali. The gates in this temple are connections or entrances for the three 3 paths of the temple area.

Tegallalang Rice Terrace is a series of beautifully arranged paddies that follow the traditional Balinese irrigation system called “subak.” The system is said to have been passed down by a sage named Rsi Markandeya in the 8th century. Along with the paddies in the villages of Pejeng and Campuhan, Tegallalang Rice Terrace forms the iconic terraced landscape of lush greenery. Since it is listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Centre, the popularity of this place grows threefold every month. And, to ensure the visual hospitality of the tourists, there is a giant swing in which you can wear a gown and take romantic pictures.

Bora Bora & Go Wild

With turquoise lagoon and white sandy beaches, re-live your Disney Moana movie in real life by visiting this island in French Polynesia for a perfect honeymoon of romance, relaxation, and fun.

Once you’ve arrived at Tahiti Faa’a, you can take an internal flight or a ferry to Bora Bora. On the island, you can hire a car, motor scooter, bike, or boat to get around and visit the different beauty spots, especially in Motu.

If you are on a leisure trip, enjoy your days in the lagoon and have a picnic on sandy beaches or on a glass-bottom cruise  watching Manta rays, sharks, and napoleonfish. But if you want adventure, you have a variety of options for water sports or you can go for a dive or a day’s fishing in the deep sea beyond the reef.

If you are there please make sure to enjoy the lavish accommodations of overwater bungalows offering breathtaking views of the crystal-clear waters or to Tahitian Guest Houses for authentic immersion. Because it is a once-in-a-lifetime experience to wake up to beautiful views of your partner’s face, you shouldn’t miss out on such luxury.
