Are you bored with cliché dramas with greasy romance, predictable plots and storylines? Are you a fan of Zombieland or Resident Evil and would love to watch a zombie apocalypse
that isn’t Train To Busan? Do you crave a spine-chilling drama? If yes, then you are in the right place.
All Of Us Are Dead is a zombie apocalypse drama that will have you hooked to it and wanting more. The drama does have a few excessive subplots, but overall is neat and short enough to binge-watch in a day.
The whole series occurs in Hyosan high-school where the son of a science teacher Lee Jin-su, a victim of bullying, first develops zombie-like behaviour. Kim Hyeon-ju gets bitten by an infected hamster; gets locked in the science lab with the science teacher. She later escapes and turns into a zombie who bites the school nurse. Like this, the apocalypse soon spreads throughout the school. The surviving students get trapped inside the school. Cut out from the world and lacking food and water students' try their best to survive. Even when the drama is chilling and horrid there is a side of it filled with coming-of-age romance and love triangles.
The stars of the drama Park Ji-hu, Yoon Chan-young, Cho Yi-Hyun, Lomon, Yoo In-soo, Lee Yoo-mi, Kim Byung-chul, Lee Kyu-hyung, and Jeon Bae-soo have surpassed themselves with their realistic acting in this drama. There are no main leads in this drama. And it keeps us on our wit's end as we sit nervously hoping that our favourite character stays alive. The performances, screenplay, and action in this drama are quite petrifying and satisfactory, so, in totality, All of Us are Dead is worthy of all the praises.
